Currently more recyclable waste streams such as cardboard, plastics and paper, are being incinerated at Waste to Energy Plants. Sadly, this process means the loss of valuable recyclable material and an increase in pollutants released into the air. At Green Oak Recycling, we believe in Closed Loop Recycling; this is where easily recyclable materials are in turn processed to make new products. We operate a single stream waste processes, with all waste material being sorted at source. Therefore the risk of contamination is considerably less, which all equates to less waste being taken to landfill or Waste to Energy incinerators.
